what things do yahoo look at when indexing websites?

I haven't tried submitting much to Yahoo because it seems that EVERYONE is using it...LOL. I feel like my little sites would be lost in the crowd.

Do metatags still count for anything with Yahoo?

Well they always look your keyword's SEO for indexing websites,same as Google do. I don't know about metatags in Yahoo.

Well , mosts SE have same conditions to get site into them , Yahoo too looks at keywords and content to rank sites

If it's indexing then it more on links. Any search engines should find your sites through links. you could also try and submit or add your site to search engines but that does not guarantee inclusion.

One of the things you can do is actually pay for a guarenteed inclusion onto their website, also backlinks definetly have an inpact, i think the going rate to get inclusion in $250 reg lucy
