Yahoo has webmaster tools just like Google webmaster center.You need to verify your site with yahoo.Second 3% keyword density can give you ranking in yahoo but you may loose ranking in Google

its very true that yahoo doesn't have enough traffic, whereas according to a survey google is visited by 83% of the global internet traffic daily. The problem is yahoo that yahoo's popularity is on wane so its difficult for yahoo to provide you enough traffic for your site. I would suggest you to shift your concentration from yahoo to google as it would help you to increase the traffic from 8000 to 12000.
