I've had a Yahoo account for 8 years. Paid account.

Last week I got an error message;

Unusual Account Activity.

Contacted support, got nowhere, form letters, form responses, tech support from India. Nada.

3 days go by, account still doesn't work, support still sends support responses.

Finally a random support person said to delete all my e-mails and it might fix the problem. So because I want it work I go through and delete them all and what do you know, it works.

Support still has not contacted me, no contact from anyone really.

I'm ditching Yahoo now, I can't believe the awful support I got on a paid account. Horrible. I can see why Google is dominating now.

Uh oh. I've used yahoo mail for years, a free account, and I don't have any problem.

I think, gmail is more safaty mail. Try to use gmail.

Hi,

I am using also yahoo from last 6 to 7 year but did not face any problem till now.

Now a days i am using gmail because its working fine and having also lots of features but still yahoo is not bad.

Ouch. You do not want to use your yahoo mail forever? I think you try hotmail or gmail for your backup mails. Thank you.

I also maintain more than one email account. One in Yahoo and one in Gmail. Luckily, I've never had problems with them.

havent experienced this kind of problem.... Therefore im still good using yahoo mail :p

I am using yahoo from at least 9 years and i also created account on gmail,I think before 2 years and i didn't get any error message on both of them yet.
