At the beginning of this month, my servers came under attack by a group of hackers from the eastern part of this world. Through their dedication and the lack of support on the part of my host, all of the data pertaining to the IntellectToday Forums was lost, and is irretrievable, and the damage is irreversible.
After deliberation, and running many scenarios through my own mind, I have decided to work toward rebuilding the IntellectToday forums.
Prior to the attacks, we have approximately 125 members with over 10,000 posts.
The site, under the domain intellecttoday.com, received over 1 Million Hits since it's startup in March of 2008.
We now operate under intellecttoday.org - intellecttoday.com will simply redirect guests to the .org domain.
Currently, I am looking for staff to assist in the reconstruction of the site - that means from both a social and technical aspect. I need people to help run it, people to post, and people to help with programming and security.
At this moment in time, we are unable to pay, after the expenses incurred by the recent incidents, but in the near future we will be compensating the staff.
