Default PR Prediction

Do you use PR prediction tools just to have a hint on how your sites are doing based on getting good backlinks? I use iWebtool's tool to predict my sites PR.

I used iwebtools for some of mines but when i use other pr predictors they come up with different results so im starting to think they are all a waste of time and will just wait till google does something.....

The only way to get a good idea about the pagerank is to use a tool which checks your PR across a large number of Google data centers.

I use Alexa. I know that in no way is it related to google or so forth, but it does help me get an idea of how my page ranks on the internet period. I also shows me who else is linking to my site and my daily traffic. I think this is free.

Cool

The Page Rank Of A Website depends solely on your inboud links. The PageRank of a website is calculated with the help of the following equation:

PR(A)=(1-d)+(PR OF LINK PAGE 1*D/NO OF LINKS IN PAGE1)+ (PR OF LINK PAGE 2*D/NO OF LINKS IN PAGE2)+.....+(PR OF LINK PAGE P*D/NO OF LINKS IN PAGE P).

Where A,is your website
D is a damping factor =0.85
link page 1,2...,P are the pages that has a link pointing to your website and can be found out by conducting a search on google with link:www.website.com.

For tools go to google and just type in PR tools you will get all what you want

as you hear a lot of other people say, i don't really look at the pr. i just look to see what my placement is on the serp's. i also use McDar tools to see what my allinacor is. that's about it. i keep trying to get good quality links from quality sites.

i do look at the pr bar but i try not to make much out of it. it is a lot easier to get quality links from other sites if you show a higher pr though. that's about it. i believe the next pr update should be coming up soon. i forgot when the last one was but it was a while ago and i know it comes out about every 4 months. i remember when it used to come out every month, or was that backlinks? i'm too old to remember

I will use seopagerank for finding pagerank of backlinks that link to my site. However, I don't really use pagerank prediction tools. I really don't find those very accurate.

although they are not accurate but it can give you a rough idea what pr will be of your website in the next update and you can work more accordingly
