Default Learn javascript

Basic JavaScript Tutorials

I've found that site is great for learning javascript. It will walk you through the whole process and even if you've never written a bit of JS before if your life you should be able to get the hang of it quite quickly with this site. It also has a lot of other materials on it.

Excellent link. Many thanks. It's one of those I've marked for quick reference too.

Java isn't all that hard, but unless you do it all the time, you do come up with questions!

Once you get the basics of javascript , its better to play with real codes , this allows you to learn how other people use Javascript

Yes , it uses codes of html but it too is a programming language , you can program with it but for web pages , not for software applications

Thank you.
How I've basically started with it is with the help of the yahoo widget engine. It is based on Java and it has a good reference book on some of the functions and so on.
