I was wondering if anyone here uses GIF banners near the top of their home page, and if you created these yourself?

I'm sure that a lot of people are going for Flash banners, if they choose to have animation at all.

no i don't like gif. i thought about a flash banner but not going to use one on my site. i do have other sites that i do use flash banners though.

i thought about having a flash banner but i find them to sometimes be distractive if they are too big.

I like Flash but I don't like loooooong download time if is banner too big. But if you ask what I would like to use for animation - thumb up for Flash.
