Default Godaddy.com

Godaddy, com has a wonderful WYSIWYG site builder. and it has a step by step sitbuilder where you can actually build it from the ground up. Has anyone here tried using a hosting company like Godaddy.com to build a website?

My site is on Freewebs and I am using their site editor because I am tired of coding by hand. They say they will be adding the ability to create columns on pages soon, I have a code that I could use int hte paragraph editor, I think, but would rather wait for them to add the feature.

I chose Freewebs because I saw a few writers using it, and a site can have many add ons like a forum and bog.

I've used dreamweaver for 11 years. It is my drink for choice.

Godaddy is okay but the templates from citymax are far nicer in design and much easier to use. I helped out a friend recently who was trying to use godaddy templates and I thought the looks were sort of cheesy.

Very good point. That's why they are called to templates. They are guides you can upgrade and modify to make your own. And I agree most templates are either cheesy or repetitious.

I would love to use dreamweaver but the cost for the program has always been way too much for me to put together.

I used site based templates in the past and always hated the results. Invariably I would tear down the pages and start from a blank page within a day or so.

Hhm , modifying templates is not easy , after you finish doing everything you still find some errors in it , so you should always design your own template
