How do u guys find an inspiration for designing the site , its very hard for me to find any new inspiration these days , most of my site look a like because every time i design a site , the same idea comes into my mind.

Where do u guys find more and more ideas and new creative inpirations for your sites ?

I sit away from the computer and I have a glass of wine and I try to think outside of the box. As if I was someone else. I like to not think from my perspective but from others.

If I am really stuck in a rut its always good to do as randle says, step away from the computer for a little bit and look at the world around you for inspiration. Anything from advertising, to newspapers, to packaging whenever I go shopping. Anything designed by designers can add a different perspective to your project.

Also, I have a folder in my bookmarks labeled inspiration, its mostly websites of designers i like... or photography websites such as [daily dose of imagery]

This sort of thing just gets your head thinking creatively but not specifically about one design you have to do. Read a quick tutorial and try a new technique, it will eventually incorporate itself into your designs.

When I'm in limbo, I usually get out and relax to get refreshed. Sometimes I go to the beach and feel the breeze or bike the hills.

When I need inspiration real quick, I think about the purpose of a site. If it's about nature, I play around with green and structures of roots, branches, or leaf venations.

I also carry around a cheap digital camera and shoot anything that interests me. You'd be surprised how photos or the memories they dig up can provide inspiration.

OK , but what if you dont have that much time in your hand , if you have to submit the site in very less time and you have reached the deadline , than what will you do

OK, I'm giving away one of my secrets, albeit I know a lot others are doing it to. I copy, and integrate, the design of others. You know, take 1 element here and another element there and tweak everything until it suits my purpose.

Open Web Design - Download Free Web Design Templates has plenty of designs and templates to choose from. However, I have to say that I believe in giving credit where it is due.

If I don't have that much time on my hands then guess what? I'm stuck at the computer until I figure the crap out. Thats where you have to force your brain to work for you.
