Default Logging in

I'm having issues logging into the forum properly.

I went to post a reply in the legal advice/taxes forum, and logged in with the correct username/password, and it gave me the "thank you for logging in" screen, but I was unable to post. So I left that part, entered it again, and still no luck.

Oddly enough, I can post anywhere else without trouble. Just thought I'd let you know about this hiccup in the system.

This is getting frustrating. I'm logged in under parts of the forum, and not under others!

I tried clearing all of my cookies, but it didn't help. It also threw an error up when I tried logging out. I clicked the link it gave me to clear cookies and log out. Then I came back in and found the same problem.

I find alot of forum software these days does that kind of stuff. I've found the only way I can usually make it work is to log in and tick the 'permanent log in' box. Everytime I clean all the cookies, cache, etc. and need to log back in, it's a real pain in lots of forums.

I'm also finding that very often, the software won't let you submit a post without previewing it. That's a waste of time!

So I'm not alone? That's a relief!

I don't seem to be having problems... at the moment. Which is good, because I'm begining to find this forum rather interesting!

I'll just try tricking the system into working properly if it gets fussy again. I could always try beating it into submission, too...

The technology will work properly!

Sometimes it happens. It depends on what type of software that you use. Maybe you should wait a little while and try again.

Might I ask what browser you normally use? Firefox is notoriously bad at not being catered to by forum software writers, and I frequently find myself having to face issues that IE users do not.
