Post 5 benefits of nofollow links

1. Human traffic: You can still get traffic from ‘nofollow’ links. You won’t get traffic from search engines, but from the websites themselves. If you have good backlinks, this can be very beneficial even though the links are ‘nofollow’.

2. Search engines still follow: Although links are deemed ‘nofollow’, search engines will still follow the link and index your page in some cases. Most won’t let the backlink impact your search engine rankings or PageRank, though.

3. Having only ‘dofollow’ is suspicious: As Google’s (and other search engine’s) algorithms become better, they might find it suspicious that a website has only ‘dofollow’ backlinks. If your website generates natural backlinks you should be fine, but if not, you don’t want to create only ‘dofollow’ backlinks.

4. It doesn’t hurt: ‘Nofollow’ links can’t hurt your website. Search engines won’t let them impact your rank (for better or worse).

5. They still count (in some ways): Some search engines still use ‘nofollow’ links to determine ranking (most of the large ones don’t, but still). Also, nofollow links might still have a part in the search algorithms. We don’t know the exact details of the algorithms, so we don’t really know.

No Follow: These are link attributes that suggest search engine not to follow a particular link and hence these backlinks are of no use from search engine perspective.

Yeah to the links are nofollow still it has value in SEO. And most important though any link mentioned as no-follow still the search engines index them and even they are considered as the tanking factor.

Not in some cases in all cases as nofollow doesnt mean no index

Forum or blog to place a nofollow attribute on the main advantage is that you do not have your hand position. These usually include the terms and conditions, legal things and more.

Nofollow links make natural links of your overall link building to any website, if you put your site link on any nofollow site then you may get some traffic as well, you can build brand name of your business.
