is there a way to track keyword progress and sites position?
Hey guys im just wondeirng if there is a way of tracking the sites progress with certin keywords used and to see what page it appears on in search engines also to see what page the site is currenly on in google.
What i want to do is track my clients sites progress of strathfieldbrookvale.com.au.

Use yahoo search explorer to find from where your competitor is getting links and traffic. And if you want your site rank in particular keywords then do submit it to directories with you targeted keywords. You can find more information here.
I am using Firefox plug in too and it is very good. While this one don't save the history of the searches, it has a very good result too Search Engine Keyword Ranking
I use the firefox add on 'rank checker' but it is not always that good. I find having checked on rank checker I will then go on and check the results, they are usually fairly close to the results rank checker gives me. There is nothing like doing it for yourself, always a little excited once I have done a certain amount of work for a website to see what results I have managed to get for them.
