You could try looking at the free version of Web CEO. SEO can not really be automated so you should still know enough about SEO when using such a software tool.

I was looking and SEO for vb and its way over priced i wouldnt pay for it. I am already getting over 100 hits from search engines and my site is only a month old so i dont see why $149 is worth it.

So Will, are you writing everything yourself? If so, good for you, and I'll bet your site is more interesting than those with paid articles.

Nah its forums i do (generally) so there is a load of us (i do use paid posting at times but only the good companys).

Im just doing a lot of work on one site just now as its a new launch thats when i checked out SEO but i thought its over priced for the lack of advantage it has - my old site could pick up 6000 hits from search engines a month and it was just a small average forum!.

Paid articls also give good return, but you need to have those articles unique and related to your site.

Do forums automatically improve your PR due to their being text based and site specific? I am still working on my forum for BMB and thought its presence would help with SEO.

Forums increase the bots who spider your site ....helps some with searches. Not a bad thing at all.

If ever I would hire people to do SEO on my sites, I would like them to do it manually and not use any SEO softwares. I'm afraid of taking the risk of my sites getting marked as spam.
