what is the difference between php and cgi? are the the pros cons of each?

CGI i think it like perl.

PHP is differant programing lanaguage.

I do php, i its a very flexible langauge and the best i think

PHP is a scripting language.

CGI is not :P
Common Gateway Interface - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

EDIT: You could say that the difference is that in PHP, you call functions, in CGI you call programs.
