Default Is PHP a powerful tool?

PHP, one of the most powerful Server side web technology, is spreading in web development circle like a forest fire. You can find trillions of PHP webpages over the internet.
PHP evolves from C language, and provides the same functionality as the C.
The great advantage of PHP over other web development technologies is that it is easy to learn, easy to manage and provide rapid development.

please feel free to share your thoughts regarding PHP and other web technolgies you like.

There is no universal language for WEB development. Sometimes you should use Java instead of PHP. Personally I like Python. It is much more flexible and powerful.

As for "great advantage", I think that it can be also "great disadvantage". Because these peoples can't provide really high-quality solution for their customer. You should program at least few years on any language. And only then you will able to say that you are professional.

Yes, PHP is very easy to learn compared to other programming languages.PHP is into web Development it's not a web designing, and it's an interesting programming tool .PHP is not enough to learn , along with PHP you have to learn many programming languages and web designing tools.
For example : JavaScript, Ajax, Mysql, Flash, CMS , etc...

Actually you would want to know them all. Using PHP will allow you to pull content dynamically or from a database. The database is just a storage house for information. If you are looking to create CMS then the database should be used to store html coding, however other than that for the most part you should store the html coding on the page and then pull the information (name, address, username, etc..) from the database and the less amount of information that the database holds the more efficient your calls will be. Also having the information broken up allows for easier manipulation of the information after the call. In other words if you have the name, address, phone, username in one table in one cell then you have to break the information up to put it in different locations on the web page if they are broken up already then you can just "plug n play" with the data.
