I don't know if AOL can qualify as anything close to a search engine. but they are branching into India. With this in mind, have you made any plans to pick up any work from the lthe very place that sucks up outsourcing dollars?

If Paypal cannot be used then there is also E-gold, but I just assume that as people from India become a larger market, there will be other acceptable means of money transfer. The problem I see developing is the fact that they don't have the spending power to make it worth while, yet.

You are probably right. It is a shame that companies will take advantage of cheap labor and people who don't know what their efforts are truly worth.

I know people who use customer service groups out of India to staff their sites. It isn't all that easy or that cheap. In the US and UK it is very difficult to hire anyone to do phone or internet based customer service. When you hire in India, you pay a large sum up front to train people to do the job, and the attrition rate is horrible. So you pay six to be trained and end up with one that works out.
