do google adwords really work? i've been thinking about using google adwords. any ideas?

Well Google Adwords is best for advertisements but sometimes you didn't get good results because of MFA sites and clickfrauds.

Adwords can make some nice money after a while, but the click fraud problem is what has made me remove them from my sites. It's too much of a hassle after a while.

Google adwords can work if you play the game correctly. You have to make sure that you find out how much you can afford per click and that you never overbid on the keywords otherwise you are facing financial problems.

what do you guys mean by clickfraud? who does this?

Clickfraud is when someone either, the owner of the site or somebody else clicks there own ads. You can be accused of clickfraud by google if someone is harrassing your ads. Which does happen oftenly. So if you know of anyone trying to click your ads to get you banned, you need to report them immediately.

Clickfraud means person who clicks on his own Adsense Ads or forcing someone to click on his site. Also if someone make number of clicks is also knowen as Clickfraud. You always report to Google, if you found something.

why would one want to click on his own links? that means they will spend money for nothing.

I think google adwords does really help if you have a e-commerce site , but just for a site giving info , i dont think its that use , because there so much spam sites these days , that your whole adwords campaign ads just go into them
