Blogchex and Squidoo are two great places to advertise yourself for free with a chance at getting paid from your own affiliate links along with those already provided by the sites. Take a look at both of these options!

Squidoo.com I a site that hosts free webpages they call lenses. If you think of a lens as something you use to focus on a subject, you kind of get the idea. Each lens has moduls that you manipulate to create the type of page you want, and you can have as many as you wish. They also have groups that you can join with your existing lense or you can create a lens within each group. This gives you a chance to tailor the information several ways for each type of audience. You can also create your own groups!

Blogchex is a site that hosts blogs and you can get paid through your
adsense account, I believe, for clicks on ads that run on your blog.
