I own a whole slew of domain names. Some are for sale, some I don't remember why I bought, many, many of them are waiting for me to get the time to develop them.

In the meantime, I have some 'parked' with Sedo.com and some parked with Namedrive.com.

What do you all use? What do you do to promote or market your parked domains within the rules of the monetizing companies?

Sedo is one company that does not allow a parked domain to be promoted. I had some there and moved them for that reason. I really could not understand why if I linked to the site from another completely relevant site, that it would not be acceptable.

But alas rules are rules......lol

I do not have any experience with namedrive so I cannot speak about them.

Personally I think the only real way to get traffic is the traffic an existing domain already had. So if you had a domain that was originally a website and had good traffic, then you parked it , you could make some money.

There are tons of people on sedo and they seem to have some good results with .com names that kind of obscure or have some random names but yet at the same time generate organic traffic. If you want to promote your site some place else and still have it parked, try seeking out Hotkeys (www.hotkeys.com) they do an incredible job.
