no, that isn't correct. it will be competitive with the others. just a slogan that will attract the project creators which will then put more money into your pocket.

To start out yes, but give yourself a good 3 months or so at the fourms, establish a good rating and high post count, get a website to place testemonials, services, etc. Then you can charge higher a price, as you will be more well known and trusted seller.

It's true that as time goes by, and you've produced good articles, that you can charge more. ... if you don't get incredibly frustrated in the process. My problem with some of the clearing house type sites is that while you get work through them, they leave the payment to you and the customer. They disappear when you need help getting paid!

ah, I've never done that before. I like to get paid half at the start, and the other half in the middle or when the job is completed.

I usually try to get half at the start and then watermark all my work and show it to them and when they are happy with it get the second half and send them the non-watermarked work. It has worked pretty well for me so far.

Try Constant Content. You place your work there under the category that is best suited, then set your own licensing prices. They are pretty picky about the quality of what you submit and you might be waiting a while before you work is purchased, but you get e-mails when there are public requests for special content and you can submit your work in repsonse.

That is always a problem with sites geared toward people bidding for jobs. Once you get established there is still no guarantee you will ever make more than rock bottom.

The other problem with the bidding sites is that they only want their fees ...they don't screen or help out in any way other than listing jobs. I saw one on writerlance ( a site that I don't recommend unless you're just beginning and even then!) where a guy wanted 400 keyword articles for $1.80 each ...there was more than one terse reply!

Right!!!!!!!! but I mean that is the companies fault for doing that. You get what you pay for sometimes.
