Default $100 Laptops

I saw a news article today that featured small, rugged laptops with wireless capabilities that only cost $100.

For now, they're only available to children in underdeveloped countries, I think.

They have a battery life of about 12 hours, plus there's a crank to generate more power.

I don't know why, but that cracked me up. They should put a crank to generate more power on kids toys, I would save a bundle on batteries if they did.

lol funny, but that is so true. You have no idea how much money I spend on kids toys when it comes to batteries. If they all plugged up I would be a happy camper.

Now where did you hear about this $100 laptop? This would be soooo convenient to check my email and converse while I'm on the road. Oh so cheap too! I mean I could use my cell phone, but the screen is soo damn tiny and it's just unbearable.
