yahoo vs google....
Which do you prefer?. I prefer yahoo overall cause i like the fact i can view email, read news etc all from the front page...but i prefer googles search engine. I know google has that custom page thing but it constantly resets itself when you add things to it - so glitchy i cant believe its out of beta.

I have always thought that google was so much better than yahoo. I have found myself trying to use yahoo just to see if i could get used to using it but i always went back to google. I'm just a fan of google, I think i always will be.

yes, i believe that yahoo gives us the facilities of having view of latest news and emails too but.....for me....in the current stage i do prefer google/gmail. because the google's search engine are far more better than anyother else and even the gmail(google mail) is so easy and convenient to use with chat system too. we can chat while checking email at the same page. isnt this a great system..and facility..?
in google we dont need to download any messenger, we can get easily comfortable email cheching facility, and even we can get the headlines of news too in gmail.
actually yahoo is not so bad, but i dont like the presentation of yahoo. i feel like yahoo is a messy. their fonts, designs are not my type.

I can't pick a favorite because I use both depending on my need at the time. I do prefer yahoo maps, I use geo a lot, and I have yahoo for email, I also have a hotmail account, but who talks about msn anymore? I use google for searching and to look up images. I haven't tried gmail though. Any thoughts about it?

Oh I've used google maps, the arial technology is awesome. We did a teasure hunt for our kids over spring break and printed one of the maps to mark the location of a tree at the park. That was really awesome. Did you know that you can type in a phone number on google and then maps will show you the location. I had my phone number removed. That's just creepy. I also removed my mothers.

I like Google because it is faster, but if I need something specific then I use Yahoo. I like gmail but I don't like stupid results from google search engine (e.g. twenty times display same site on first ten pages).

I find that yahoo does that sometimes as well. You look something up and then you find that it has listed one site a million times. Theres nothing you can really do about that. Thats something they need to fix.
