A great little hotel a torquay
I’m going to tell you about a great hotel I found set in a superb Torquay location overlooking some of the most beautiful coastal scenery on the English Riviera.
The Torquay hotel itself stands perfectly located in its own secluded grounds in a quiet, peaceful setting, yet just 300m to Meadfoot beach or only 10 minutes walk to Torquay harbour.
Elegantly furnished and decorated public rooms give this Victorian hotel a restful, welcoming atmosphere with a touch of class.
You may enjoy a coffee or real Devonshire cream tea in our comfortable lounge. Or take time to sit out on the terrace or in the garden for lunch. Alternatively if you are feeling a little more active you may take a stroll down to the harbour and town centre or round some of the beautiful coastal nature walks in the surrounding area. Then back for a drink in our traditional licensed bar.
The Torquay hotels restaurant is well renowned for the high standards of its imaginatively produced cuisine using fresh produce and locally caught fish to create English dishes with a touch of continental flair, complemented by a fine selection of wines. Vegetarian and most special diets are catered for with pleasure.
All bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms with shower, and are equipped with 20” Flat screen colour digital televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone.

By special arrangement for a small fee guests at the Torquay hotel can use the hesketh health club which is located directly opposite us.
The health club boasts an impressive selection of facilities which enable you to exercise, keep fit or relax and revive. Hesketh’s has its own fully equipped 33 stage gymnasium with state of the art equipment, a large indoor heated swimming pool and sauna.
