I am the webmaster for Good News Now. I am a graphic designer. I really am at a loss for how to promote. I have tried a few things. Tell me what has worked for you. That is why I joined this forum.

do you have a website that has your portfolio? you really need to have one that shows what kind of work you can provide. Also, my website will be up in a month and that you can bid on projects to get clients and if your clients are satisfied you will receive referals.

Well first of all make your portfolio with better information. Than offer some free design on different forums. I am sure you will get more people.

Yes I agree the porfolio is very important. That is how much people end up choosing a designer on.

Try to show up your sites and designed in diffrent forums and put of some free graphics so that people can see what yu are upto

you have done a great task in joining this forum. similarly join to other forums and try to posts your designs.This will help you a lot in promoting your designs.
