In my first attempts, I experimented a bit using Word templates, then viewing the source code in Notepad but that was just some very basic things with text, fonts, colours and backgrounds for a resume page.

I only do handcoding, I have never used any web building program. I have considered it, but have never. Dreamweaver and the like tend to make websites that are code heavy, they include unnessary code in the pages they create. I'm sure for speed they can't be beat.

Like Fizz I only do handcoding. I tried to use Dreamweaver once to save time and it ended up making me go insane because of the lack of self creativity and the fact that it wastes a lot of coding space. Dreamweaver, etc doesn't understand coding shortcuts lol. I've been coding in HTML for 9 years strong and CSS and Javascript for 3 all with handy dandy notepad.
