W3C stands for World Wide Web Consortium - it keeps a check on how internet websites works , it doesnot owns internet but just tries to see that the language used in making websites are universally accepted

It might be a good thing to get acquainted with this standard-setting organization HERE. I f you want to learn more about XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, W3Schools Online Web Tutorials is a good place to start. They have extremely useful webmaster resources, including online examples that you can twiddle and test to your heart's content.

Ack! I couldn't do it that way! If someone wants W3 compliance, I do that from the start. I find nothing worse than taking an already built site and having to correct all the issues that stop it being compliant.

I think doing from start might get harder then just doing it at last , because when you will design you may not look into codes and if you do then it will take long to deisgn the site

I agree, to go through and edit everything after the fact to make it compliant is a huge pain the butt. I try from the get-go to make things pretty compliant for the most part, but don't go perfection crazy to get it completely up to par.

Being W3c compliant can be good as long as everything doesn't start looking the same. I have seen sites built by people with good reputations for following accepted standards, that were uninspiring for the audience or niche the site caters to.

Like learning everything, you start with the standards in the beginning. You become a true artist when you can be less rigid than those same standards.
