Default W3 Compliance Reducing Compatibility Problems?

This is an offshoot of another topic. We are currently working on making our pet site W3 compatible. Right now there are some fairly major issues to work around, since this is an existing site-tearing it down and starting again would probably be easier.

Given that Firefox and other browsers are more tightly compliant with W3 standards, is it the case that W3 compliance should mean that sites render comparably on the various browsers? Or might we still encounter problems?

Default

Firefox , Netscape , Opera , Mozilla al work on rather similar funcationality , you will only have problem with IE if you focus more on other browsers , but if just focus on IE then you will problem on others , so first decide where you want you site to open ,

stilll majority of NON-tech people use IE...
