Default myspace

Does myspace use only html? I thought it was hard at first to build a myspace page but once I got the looks of it, I realized that it was simple, just cut and paste. But can I add more to my page

You can add a certain limit of html in your page , because myspace is highly database driven website , you actuallly dont create a website over there , you just customize the look of your already made page .

Not much , you can add css and other scripts too , but there a limitation , since all your codes will be saved in a database so few codes may not run properly .

Thats why some of the codes I put in didn't run right. I use to try to figure out why my codes would act funny or not act at all. I can't change them around or redo the code to adjust it to make it work right?

There are plenty of websites and blogs that provide examples of code that works there and where to place it. IMHO most people customise myspace very badly with lots of gaudy and slow-loading pictures. I would suggest showing restrain and leaving the layout and fonts pretty much standard as they are much easier to use that way. All you really need is a nice color scheme and a small graphic here or there to make it look lived in.

People damage there myspace layout because those people dont know HTML actually , they just copy and paste codes which doesnt fit into the actual layout.

See and thats what i use to do but they have sites that give you the right codes for certain areas thats why I don't understand why they mess it up.

People mess up because they dont know what they are doing, they just copy that code and paste there and find that its not upto there mark and try to edit it themselves and in turn screw up whole the code

Really so shouldn't you just add the code as it is or as its given. I mean thats what the sites are made for right? The are premade codes. Every myspace page is setup the same
