I have heard that it is best to include tags in your content and that metags are lass important with Adsense. The trick is to avoid havin gso many that your content is seen as spamming to manipulate the system.

If someone has heard something else, please share! I have heard so many rumors about Adesnse that my head swims just thiknking about it.

I don't know why the previous poster is mentioning Meta tags and Adsense in the same sentence as the two are not connected. Meta tags including the title tag do play a role of importance although not as much as it used to be. Don't forget that the title tag is used for your listing in the search engine results and it is the first thing that search engine users look at. If you have a good title tag then users are more likely to visit your website and not that of one of your competitors.

Yes , it does , it does look that title tag matches with the content in the body , so try to keep title same as content of your site

I've seen people manipulate the title tags to a degree. Notice that sometimes when you google a company or topic that you'll get a combination of both name and what they do?

Which is sort of good and sort of bad ...when I'm searching and see that, I sometimes think it looks so junky that I go right past it! LOL.

I haven't even used meta tags for years and my page ranks great on google and most other searchengines. The bots don't care about that sort of meta-information any more, they go by page content. It may not hurt to ad it for the benefit of older styles engines but really, I wouldn't waste the time on it. There is still a point to using the title tag but not the keywords.

i agree with you the-glyphon. there is a point to use the title tags but not for keywords for google. title tags are used for other search engines such as msn. so i say why not use them if you have to put something there.
