I find it hard to believe the tool is any where near accurate I rank at # 8 for a KW and only get a few hits a day from it. When you go on the KW tool is shows the following numbers for that KW

Local Search Volume Last Month 2,740,000

Global Search Volume Last Month 3,350,000

Would the #8 site for that KW only get like 25 hits a day when is is searched for over 90,000 times a day ?

I honestly have no idea how accurate the KW tool is....I am not getting the traffic I want even though I am #1 for a keyword that gets 40+ exact keyword searches a day.

You also should have knowledge about Google trend.

Some keywords are seasonal, it gives you result in season only.

For a long time, the SEO world has revolved around the idea that KW volume prediction tools could only give relative levels of accuracy.

compared to other kw search tool, i can say that google keyword adwords tool is way better in terms of giving results and kw listing
