I have heard a lot about submitting articles on various article submission directory such as Ezine etc. How to approach it?

For example, I wrote an article on my blog. If I use the same article for submission, would that not create a duplicate content? So, does that mean, I need to tweak it little to avoid duplicate content penalty?

What is the best way to do so? After all, how many variations of the same article can you write?

You need to give link to your blog from that article which may be not cause any problem for your article. It is better you try for it.
