Has anyone tried this whole social bookmarking thing? I heard that it could actually help your traffic a whole lot. I havent done it yet because it seems difficult but im trying to promote a friends blog right now and I was looking into social bookmarking for more traffic.

social bookmarks are great for some extra traffic. It's not going to be grade A targeted traffic like coming from an SE, but it's good on the side. As seomaster has said, it's good for a few days and then dies, so you have to keep at what your doing to keep the traffic coming.

Socialbookmarking is great, especially for building deep links. It wont give you a lot of traffic unless you get lucky and somehow get put on Diggs front page, but it will help overall.
