So what do you usually do to optimize your search engine results? I usually spend a lot of time crafting the meta tags and creating a link ring to boost myself up.

I am creating a link ring among my seven sites and the sites I do web content for. I am experimenting with a project to boost traffic thru a web content article chain. I will do it as I launch each of the next five.

Well I spend most of time behind meta tags and keywords. I also build good links and also boost my traffic from different types of sites.

Having keyword-rich material, with appropriate meta tags, is vital on the site itself; otherwise, building up quality backlinks is a good method.

That is a great way to showcase your work. I wish I had thought of it. What a great idea.

I dont think Metatags are that usefull now , Google bot doesnt look them , rather try to get more and more unique content to your site , that helps a lot

I think you are very correct about this. Sometimes, it pays to google similar articles and see which ones are different yet get the same message across. If, as a searcher, you see things too similar you immediately drift toward the different ones. So, it's keyword density with creativity.

There are more search engines than just Google out there! Of course, there's no substitute for content.

That only works though if all your sites are hosted on different hosts as Google will quickly realize what you have been doing otherwise.

One more thing is very important that , you also optimize the file name of the images used on your page , that too brings good results in search engine
