The good news is that Google is a strong supporter of web standards - the coding standards observed by most professional web developers. Microsoft's Internet Explorer has always been behind in the support for these standards and MS even caused more harm than good in the early days of IE by polluting the internet with proprietary code.

Google acknowledged both Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox in their Chrome announcement today

i think that firefox really is the best browser currently. Sure google chrome is fast, but it doesnt have fancy add-ons like ADBlock+ and changing it's VISTAish theme is really pain in the a** because there are a lot of errors when changing versions and other problems.

Default hello guys...

this is Axeline..

I'm fund of using both.. and right now I am planning to look for ways,
on how I could make my browser, as Chromifox...it's a combination
of Chrome and Firefox... I have no idea yet, whether it's downloadable..

Anyways, I love the ease of using these two browser..aside from Chrome's
simple lay outs.. same goes with firefox..

One of best thing i like, it makes searching simpler. Chrome's signature features is its Omnibox, an integrated all-purpose bar at the top of the browser. You can type in a URL or a search term--or both--and Chrome takes you to the right place without asking any questions. Omnibox can learn what you like, too--a talent that goes beyond the obvious automatic completion function. Say that you want to use the PCWorld.com search function, for example. Once you've visited the site once, Chrome will remember that PCWorld.com has its own search box and will give you the option of using it right from Omnibox. The function thus automates keyword searches.

I love using Firefox but Chrome is my second choice. I like it better than IE.

I tried out Chrome for a few days but I had to uninstall it. According my Corporate IT Chrome has security holes and wanted it off all office machines! Which they would fix all bugs/holes, so I use in my office again!

Google Chrome otherwise was pretty nice. I was considering at full replacement for Firefox on windows. But, I think I will have to wait on that.

I think time will tell, but it seems quick, sleek and easy to use. Seems happy with every site I've thrown at it so far.

It looks nice and has that nice feature that shows your most visited sites. But there are plugins to get that for firefox.

It probable has it's uses. Like a public internet terminal where you don't want a myriad of toolbars and addons.

That's just my take on it.
