Default Paid Links

A few days ago, Matt Cutts made a blog post about paid links. According to his post, buying and selling links can now be reported to Google. How has this affected your link selling/buying?

I don't think this will work.
People are intentionally going to spam them, to make sure this never works.

Plus, this makes a great tool to get rid of competition, so I don't think Google will proceed with it for long.

That sounds quite serious if people are caught doing that it would be disaster. That could kill a website if they got kicked out of google. I have never bought backlinks but i would consider it.

Yes, I dont believe google will proceed as well. If they did it would create a complete mess.

Thanks for your opinion guys. I'm also thinking that it's just too complicated to implement such system in linking. A lot of people are not interested in following it.
