My mane is andrena markley and I am working on two mobile related sites. For last two months I am facing some problem regarding ranking and supplemental results.

The domain of the sites are “add it now” (.co.uk)
“3 contract mobile phones” (.co.uk)
* remove the spaces

The first site used to rank very good on google but now it is now where in google. The latest PR update has given 3 – 4 PR for most of the static pages but there no change in ranking.

The second site is ranking for general words such as “ mobiles, phones, mobile phones” but it is not ranking for handset specific keywords.
These two sites are part of white label business.

Can anyone put some light on the above mentioned problem.

The visual pagerank in the Google toolbar is only updated every three months or so. The change probably happened sometime it the past and remember PR is only one factor out of hundreds for determining rank.

PR is one factor for SERP. Try to observe results on SERP, mostly, the ones on the top are the one with higher PR. So, it has a distinct advance somehow. I have been experiencing a bounce on SERP ranking on google. Now you see it, now you don't. One thing I carefully note is the balance of keywords optimization and the other is the competitors activity. From there, I would then know what to do to get back to the top.

Yes, You should think about your link building way because link building way is main part of your site and it can effect your site positions deeply.

I think all of most change our mindeset for PR. Google consider around 200 factors for SERP. PR is just one of them. If you check term "Link Building" you can see most of the results are from PR0 sites.=))

I would also suggest to try checking the search engine for your competitor's activities. Make sure that you also maintain your link building activities to improve site PR.
