So, adwords is something you would have to pay for? What about adsense? Still trying to understand this.

My understanding of Adsense is that you can sign up for free and get up to three of their ads on your page, then earn either based on impressions or clicks, getting paid when your balance reaches $100.

I'm new at this, and I'd be interested in more details from the people here who have been using Adsense for a while.

Adsense is basically a way for website publishers to earn money by placing ads on their websites or blogs. Normally each time a visitor clicks on one of the ads that you have placed on your website you will earn some money. The amount depends on the keyword and how much the advertisers are bidding through the Adwords programs.

i need to advertise and this is the best way that i know of at this time. it's going to take me a long time to get my natural rankings up. it works though. i have another site and i got a big deal out of it.
