Rep Power: 0 kuma.lk is on a distinguished road

Default Google keyword tool

Hi there,
Im using google keyword tool to search which terms are searched most often. Does anyone know if you type a generic keyword, such as New Jersey farms, that the results it gives you is how often combinations of that word is used in different form (e.g. pumpkin farms in new jersey, tomato farms new jersey, etc.), or is it the exact keyword which is being searched? When you type in said example, you get a list of other words that are used in combination with new jersey farms, with varying degrees of how often it is searched. The reason i ask is because there is a certain term im looking to capitalize on, but not sure if it actually gets the amount of search queries per month or if those three words are used interchangeably in other search terms. Hope im not too vague, pm me if your lost.

Thanks.

Google is giving you a pretty good idea of what terms people are searching under and how often. If you type in New Jersey, the Adword Keyword Tool will give you not only the estimate search volume for that term, but also the other terms that closely match that one and their search volume.

It is a great tool for figuring out what words people are searching under.

The Google Keyword tool takes into account not only the exact term you typed in but also numerous variations of the term. So if you used something like "New Jersey farms", it would also take into account all queries with New Jersey farms in them. I'm assuming that you are using the updated Keyword tool.
