Default Flash for Dial up !

I just wanted to ask you people , when you design flash sites do u keep those dial up users in mind , who have hard time loading these flash images , or just create because it looks good on your site ?

When I have created flash movies I have always kept them away from the main pages of the site. I link to them so that those who have the ability or the patience to download them can do so, without inconveniencing others. I think it's just a common courtesy.

I test it both through the bandwidth test on flash and in dreamweaver. Then I post on an unlinked page and have friends with dial up check it out. I always design for 56k dial up.

Well most of time I design for 56k dial up users because in my country users are still using low speed connection and most of traffic come from my own country.

It depends on the target audience, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't, but if there is ever a flash element on my page I always provide a skip link.

Who still uses dial-up? I guess it's good to have for a back-up, but no, I don't keep them in mind.

There ARE people who still use dial up for many reasons. Depending on your goals, not including them in your design can eliminate a good chunk of business. They still deserve some respect, even if we don't use it ourselves.
