thanks for the idea, Sarah... but just like xoom.com, they have tracking service of the money a person have sent you, while I do not see any features that Western Union offers the same way like that. I think they should have. It can be a time saving for anyone to have this features on the internet tho...
Tracking of an Economy option money transfer transaction once it has been sent by Western Union is generally not available through Western Union. A Customer or Receiver may make an inquiry directly to the destination bank, which may charge a fee for this inquiry.

If you have a PayPal account, you can send money by following these steps: Log in to your PayPal account. Click the Send Money tab. Fill out the form. Click Continue. Review the details of the payment, including the payment method. To change any information, click the appropriate Change link. Note: If you edit your payment details, the payment method will return to the default method of payment.

If you are buying something online and they suggest you to place order and send money through Western union or if someone is sending you money through W.U, they have to provide you the tracking number of the that product or amount. By this number you can track easily.
