I'm going to raise a fist and say 'huzzah' with the people on the side of WRITE or BUY your own content. I know it's not easy - or cheap - to have good, original content; but for pity's sake...could someone tell me the point of NOT giving credit where it's due?
I guess the logic behind that is to not have to pay a writer who's accustomed to getting paid. Maybe I'm naive about this - but - why wouldn't you just ask permission to reprint the author's work and then give 'em a link? The worst they might say is 'no', and if they do, find a different writer.
Why not do this? Is it in the interest of time or trouble or what? I don't get it.
